Lucentdrive was founded in February 2022 as a small engineering company with a vision to develop sustainable energy solutions. Our founders, a team of passionate engineers, saw the growing need for renewable energy sources and set out to make a difference. Over the years, we have developed the world's first next-generation vertical wind turbines with fully automated shape-changing architecture. Following two years of intensive CFD and FEA research, including the investigation of nearly 15 design iterations, we proudly present this exceptional achievement—an efficient, realistic, and fully optimized shape-changing architectural form.
Innovative Technology
Our VAWTs incorporate a patented, adaptive design that changes shape to optimize performance in varying wind conditions. By combining lift and drag aerodynamic elements, these turbines ensure efficient, continuous power generation where conventional systems fall short.
Lucentdrive introduces the World's first Next-Generation Vertical Wind Turbines with fully automated shape-changing architecture. The shape-changing architecture produces a Darrieus or Drag-shaped profile at low wind speed and a Savanious or lift-based profile at high wind speed.
Thus, we achieve a high starting torque at low wind speed with the best efficiency while maintaining a highly efficient Savanious wind turbine profile at high wind speed.
The prototype has been tested & validated for Indian Market. We are undergoing a series of trials and testing procedures for worldwide certifications. Lucentdrive is preparing for series production and the machine's launch into the wind turbine market by beginning of 2026.
